Kyber Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 29, 2026
Kyber is built so that your data stays yours. It is a zero-knowledge, on-device password manager: everything you save lives encrypted on your iPhone, and Abyssal Group has no way to read it.
What we collect
Nothing. Kyber has no account, no sign-up, and no master password. We do not collect, store, or transmit your passwords, passkeys, notes, or any personal information to our servers.
Where your data lives
Your vault is stored only on your device and sealed with AES-256-GCM encryption. The encryption keys are protected by your device's Secure Enclave and unlocked with Face ID or Touch ID. Because the keys never leave the Secure Enclave, no one — including us — can decrypt your vault off your device.
AutoFill
When you use Kyber to fill credentials in apps and websites, the matching happens locally through Apple's AutoFill system. Your credentials are not sent to Abyssal Group at any point.
Tracking and analytics
Kyber contains no third-party advertising or tracking SDKs. We do not profile you or sell data, because we do not have it.
Apple services
If you purchase a subscription, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store and is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. Abyssal Group does not receive your payment details.
Changes
As Kyber adds features such as encrypted cross-device sync, this policy will be updated to describe them before they ship. Any future sync is designed to remain end-to-end encrypted.
